Stefy Bau is a serial entrepreneur, a passionate speaker, a 3-time motocross world champion, and Founder & CEO of Init Esports and Init Sports. With over 30 years in motorsports, e-mobility, and esports, she has pioneered global initiatives, promoting women's empowerment in sports and gaming. Stefy's Init Esports bridges the motorsports gap through sim racing, providing global access to motorsport experiences. Events like Race Me and Screen to Speed foster diversity and offer pathways to participation for women into real-world racing. The Sim 4 STEM program engages female students in motorsports-related STEM activities creating experiential learning. Sim 4 STEM is a now a patch program with the Girl Scouts. Init Esports also creates a pathway via esports for the motorcycle world, Stefy’s first passion. Stefy was the first woman to race professionally with men in motocross history. After a career-ending injury, she managed the Women's World Motocross Championship and has been involved in motorsports her entire life. Inducted into the Motocross Legends in Stone in 2023, she serves on boards like WiST (Women In Sport Tech) and GEF (Global Esports Federation), advocating for women and minorities. She is also chair of the Athlete and Players Commission in the GEF and is part of the Player Selection Commission in the USEF (United States Esports Federation). Stefy is also co-owner of Sim Expo and Legends Racing Group. Her core message is: "Be you and take the leap!"
